Alright!: Jillian's Saturday Morning

Happy Saturday morning! Jillian had breakfast, took a long bath, tidied the kitchen, made her bed and started cleaning her room. Shortly after 10,
Jill got the bus into town with Megan and purchased a new, big sketchbook at Eason's. (She isn't being paid to advertise their shop on this blog.) Lunch was planned for the Linenhall Library coffee shop but to our disappointment, they had only coffee and scones, and other such delicacies. Jillian wanted "CHICKEN." The next eating establishment met her requirements. At the Apartment, Jill ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich on sun-dried tomato bread and a 'shappacino'. As it transpired, the chook sarny arrived in the company of pommes frites! Real skinny ones like in France (or in America where they call them French fries). Once she'd anglicized them with about 250 ml of vinegar, Jill enjoyed every bite.
During lunch the sun came out on City Hall!! Such a rare occurance these past few months that we thought it warranted a photo. Jillian was pleased with the sun and the promise of a walk at Crawfordsburn on the beach in the afternoon. The perfect Saturday.

Sounds Alright to me, too! I wouldn't mind such a Saturday myself. I did have some lovely coffee and curry eggs before spending most of the day attempting to find the most affordable camcorder that will do what I need for the next 10 months. No lovely walk for me.

Thanks to Jill for sharing her day!

Love, Sharon
